Dental emergencies are painful and stressful. At Pettinato Dental Care in North Scranton, we make every effort to see emergency patients the same day — including new patients. Quick action makes a huge difference, especially with a knocked-out tooth.
Severe tooth pain, a knocked-out tooth, a dental abscess, a broken crown, or trauma to the mouth or jaw — all of these need urgent attention. Don't wait it out. The sooner we see you, the more likely we can save the tooth and stop the pain.
Gently rinse the tooth — don't scrub it — and try to place it back in the socket if you can. If not, store it in milk or in your cheek (in saliva) and head straight to our office. The first 30–60 minutes are critical for re-implantation.
